Workshop on Cyber Security for Various Cloud Storage Services.

Hands-on Workshop on “Cyber Security for Various Cloud Storage Services “ was conducted on the 6th and 7th of February, 2023 by DCSE, SRMIST – VDP Campus. The objective of the program was to provide a much-needed insight to students in this essential domain starting from the very basic concepts and covering niche processes in depth. The Resource persons were Mr. Nishanth Rajasekar and Mr. Shivamani BM, E2E Networks Ltd. Vellore and alumni (batch of 2021 ) of DCSE, VDP Campus.
The session kicked off with the introduction and felicitation of the resource persons. The first day of the workshop covered topics such as the basics of cloud infrastructure and security and building infrastructure with various cloud products. The second day delved into more advanced topics like cloud storage and backup services, securing cloud infrastructure from cyber attackers, and cloud deployment models. With the ever-growing importance of cyber security in today’s digital world, this workshop provided students with valuable insights and skills that will undoubtedly be useful in their future careers. The workshop was coordinated by Dr. K. Meenakshi, DCSE, Vadapalani Campus.
