SRM-VDP Alumni Association is functioning successfully since the inauguration of the Association in the year 2017. The main aim of the association is to connect all the Alumni of Vadapalani campus in a common media. This will help the Alumni to stay connected with the Institution and provide Trainings, Placement Assistance and Internship opportunities to the students. Regular meetings and interactions are conducted in the campus. In addition, yearly reunion is organized on January 26th of every year. The reunion provides an opportunity to the alumni to meet their faculties and to relive their old memories with the Institution.
Our Alumni has prospected and have peaked the heights in their career. Many of our Alumni have cracked the most prestigious exams like CAT, GATE, GRE, TOEFL and IELTS. They have also been admitted into World’s prestigious Universities in countries like Germany, UK, USA, and Singapore for pursuing their masters. Our Alumni has attained top positions in Industries like Royal Enfield, Ford, Renault Nissan, TCS, CTS, Wipro, etc. They have been regularly supporting our institution by giving Tech-talks and providing Hands-on trainings seminars to students.
‘Reflections’- E-Newsletter of the Directorate of Alumni Affairs, SRM IST provides a better platform to the Alumni to know the happenings in the Institute. It also showcases the achievements of Alumni in different areas. The network is the official alumni network of SRM & is powered by Alma Connect. It’s a place to deepen your bonds with your community & connect with them in a meaningful way. Around 500+ alumnus have enrolled in the association and are contributing towards the development of the institution.
Alumni’s can send the details of referrals for Job offers to students, Internship opportunities and their personal achievements to be published in ‘Reflections’ (like obtaining higher position in the company, admission into Top universities for Master’s degree, etc.) to alumni@vdp.srmuniv.ac.in
