Technozarre ’23, a National-Level Symposium, was organized on the 3rd of March 2023 by the DCSE – SRMIST, Vadapalani campus. The event included the conduct of a series of workshops, webinars along with technical,non-technicall and gaming events, in its 6th edition with the theme “Paradigm shift to Artificial Intelligence”.

The event kickstarted with the inaugural function being held on 3rd March at 9.00 AM. Dr. S. Prasanna Devi, HOD – CSE, welcomed the Chief guest for the day Dr. R. Srinivasan, Member Secretary of Tamil Nadu State Council for Science and Technology, Chennai and, the Guest of Honor, Mr. Murali Rajagopalan, managing director, IoT Solution, Telit India Pvt Ltd.

Dr. C.V. Jayakumar, Dean – CET, Dr. C. Gomathy, VP – Academics and Dr. Golda Dilip – Faculty coordinator – White Hat Hackers Club also joined with her in welcoming the guests.

The Chief Guest , Dr. R. Srinivasan, in his Inaugural address praised this generation students for upskilling themselves and using opportunities wisely so much so that the higher education index has risen over the years with Tamilnadu having it more than 55%. He also mentioned about the various funding opportunities and support for IPR (Intellectual Property Rights) for innovations provided by the Tamilnadu State Council for Science and Technology.

Following this, Mr. Murali Rajagopalan, managing director, IoT Solution, Telit India Pvt Ltd., the Guest of Honor for the event delivered the Keynote address. He compared the olden days where there were very few applications on a big PC and how we have hundred of apps in a much smaller smart phones today. He concluded his speech by mentioning how people in all walks of life have become Tech savvy owing to the democratization of Technology and Engineering students playing a great role in the creation of these technologies.

The valedictory function was held at 3 pm in the evening with Dr. Madhan Kumar Srinivasan, Co-Founder and CEO of WiseWork India; and The CTO and Managing Director at Hue learn Dubai being the Chief Guest and Mr. Shivaram KR, CEO of HueLearn Dubai and The Co-Founder & CTO of WiseWork India being the Guest of Honor. Both the guests spoke about how students can use the various opportunities around them and succeed. This was followed by the distribution of prizes for the various events by the guests.
Overall, Technozarre ’23 was a great success, with the guests and attendees praising the organizers for their meticulous planning and execution of the event. The symposium provided a platform for students to learn from the experts, network with their peers, and gain insights into the latest trends in the industry. The attendees left the event feeling inspired and motivated, looking forward to the next edition of Technozarre.
