The purpose of organizing this 6 day FDP is to provide a hands-on experience on ML and optimization techniques using Matlab. This FDP aims at enhancing the knowledge about the latest techniques pertaining to ML (Machine Learning) and optimization.

Machine learning algorithms perform function approximation which is solved using function optimization. Function optimization is the process of minimizing error, cost or loss when fitting a machine learning algorithm.
