ACE (Association of Computer Engineering) is a club that had been initiated in the year 2011 for the Computer Science Department. It had been initiated to support the activities of the students in the Computer Science department.  ACE Club’s very first Event was Fenestra 2011 which was the first national level Technical Symposium. Then Fenestra was later changed to Ubertech in the year 2013. ACE aims at promoting one’s talent and skills through many workshops and events. Also, The Responsibility of the students and the leadership qualities are brought out by various events conducted by ACE club. The ACE club have also been supportive for the students in involving them for various Events , seminars and Workshops every year from the time it had started. It motivates the students to compete with the outside world apart from the regular Subjects. The creative skills and analytical skills of the students are brought out for gaining confidence in one’s talent. Every Student gets an opportunity to be a member of the ACE club events every year.

SRM Institute of Science and Technology (formerly known as SRM University) is one of the top ranking universities in India with over 38,000 students and more than 2600 faculty across all the campus, offering a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs in Engineering, Management, Medicine and Health sciences, and Science and Humanities. The White Hat Hackers Club is a technical club under the Computer Science and Engineering department with a vision to make the students pioneers in their respective fields. With Cyber Security being our prime focus, we also deal with the technologies that are under the spotlight. With a student base of 300 members, we are the largest club in the campus. Having conducted over 15 events since our inception two years ago, we have proved our mettle time and again.

Design And Innovation Club  is a hybrid club of SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Vadapalani Campus that brings together the young minds with dreams of becoming an innovatorto showcase their talents of design and innovation in the field of engineering and technology.

The inaugural ceremony of The Design and Innovation Club was held on 4th March 2019. The inauguration of the ceremony took place at 10:00am which was followed by the felicitation of the Chief Guest, Mr. A. D. Padmasingh Isaac, MD, Aachi group of companies. The session involved the inauguration of the club logo followed by the inaugural address by the Chief Guest who motivated the students to create their own future and be their own inspiration.

He inspired the students by asking them to have a vision, put in persistent effort, hard work and have the quality of perseverance. After which, he spoke about how the brand of a person is his/her character and attitude. Queries were raised by some students which he answered with enthusiasm and deep insight. One of the questions was about who were his major competitors. He gave an answer which induced laughs but at the same time was shrewd. His answer was that the housewives were the major competitors as his products were aimed at replacing or providing a viable alternative to their home made masalas.

Finally, the ceremony was successfully concluded by awarding young innovators for their ideas and projects around 12:00
